Dr Chatti is currently a Principal Research Scientist at Dr. Reddy’s Institute of Life Sciences in Hyderabad, India. He previously investigated tyrosine kinase activity and regulation in cancer and other diseases, and his current work is focused on tyrosine kinome diversity due to alternate splicing, and its relevance to disease. His work also involves the use of zebrafish as an in vivo model.
Dr Chatti has published 16 research articles, has received 4 research grants, and he has presented his work at multiple international conferences.
Dr Chatti has been a peer reviewer for Scientific Reports, Cancer Letters, PloS One, and the Journal of Signal Transduction. He is a BELS-certified editor, with experience in academic and industry-driven research, as well as student training and mentorship. An editorial board member of the Elsevier journal Heliyon, Dr Chatti joined Edanz Group as a research consultant in 2017.
